First post in a while, good news though!

I just got this message from Maija, pretty sweet info if you ask me:

"Hey Key Clubbers!Since we had to order the cookie dough tubs in cases of six, we ended up with a sizable amount of leftover cookie dough...You know what that means! If you or anybody you know wants to buy up the extra cookie dough, bring in your money to Thursday's meeting. Prices will remain the same as listed on the order form, and cookie dough will be sold on a first come first serve basis. Questions? Shoot me a message! Thanks,Maija"

See you all on Thursday morning!

I just got an important message from Jessica So that was originally sent from Gobi Ndiwane, our club's Liuetenant Governor. Wow, that's almost like a relay race with helpful info isn't it? Check it out:

"What's that?" , you may ask. Well, I was supposed to announce it during the last meeting, but we ran out of time ):

Basically, since I am lieutenant governor, I am holding a meeting for everyone in our Key Club who wants to learn how to be a leader or is interested in becoming part of our key club board, or even the district board like me. Whatever you aspire to become, you should definitely show up to this. It will take place on October 21, 2009 at 3:30 at the high school. Kids from other high schools in our division will also be coming! RSVP to Mr. Dan or me if interested. Thanks

Car Wash Part 2

As you all know, the first official Key Club Car Wash that took place this Saturday, September 19th was a huge success. What you may not know is that my brother Ryan Oppedisano took some great photos while you weren't looking! Above are some of the most memorable shots I grabbed from his Photobucket account. To view all of the photos, click the provided link and check them out! http://s629.photobucket.com/albums/uu17/RyanOppedisano/?start=0

Key Klub Car Wash: Success!

I just got home after participating in the club's first ever car wash, and if you weren't there you definitely missed out. After a short yet productive three hours of hosing, scrubbing, and drying, over 100 cars had made their way through the high school's parking lot! At an average donation of around ten dollars per car, our efforts raised the club $1,000!!! It's clear that this event was a wild success, so there will surely be another car wash in the future. Expect a bulky post within the next few days, my brother along with a few others did their part in snapping some memorable photos, so be on the lookout. Thanks again to everyone for coming out, having fun, and starting the year out with a bang!

First Official Post

I'd like to start my first official post by welcoming all members of Mystic Valley Key Club into the world of blogging. As webmaster, I plan on keeping a constant log of what's going on in our club. Whether its information on upcoming events, openings for community service hours, or achievements made by club members, my goal is to keep you all involved by posting about these things. Today being Thursday, there was a pretty interesting meeting this morning, so expect a post soon with some pictures and other information about future meetings. Until then, I hope you'll all add this blog to your favorites, and even start checking it as often as facebook? Well maybe not, but for now I'm out of here. Have a great April Vacation everybody!
